When Shiva sleeps, what does she dream?
Do all the fragments of the day
Come back to her mind
Like pieces in a jigsaw puzzle?
The frisbee that her daddy threw.
The cross words when she chewed the shoe,
Her mummy bought for sixty dollars.
The ten k that she ran that day,
The looks of awe along the way,
From guys who’ve never seen a husky run
With so much gusto
So much fun.
Her massive excavation,
Digging is the best sensation
For a husky bent on exploration
To find the biscuit stashed before.
Then coming home with dirty paws,
To face the dreaded shower of course.
Could all this be what Shiva dreams?
